Degree apprentice. Content creator. Figuring out the corporate world so you don't have to.
my story
I finished A-Levels with 2 Bs in Accounting and Economics, and an E in Maths. Not exactly the grades you see on LinkedIn humble-brags. But even then, something in me refused to believe that a handful of letters on a results slip could define what I was capable of.
After a gap year, including three months at a US summer camp that taught me more about myself than any exam ever did; I started uni. But while everyone else was settling into freshers, I was already deep in the process for a degree apprenticeship. Online assessments, in-person interviews, assessment centres; the lot. Every stage felt like proving to myself that I belonged in rooms I hadn't been invited to yet.
When the offer came through, I sat with it longer than I expected. I loved uni. My mates were there. Walking away from that felt like giving up something I'd only just found. But deep down, I knew what the right move was, even if it didn't feel comfortable. I took the job, and I haven't looked back.

Finished with Bs in Accounting and Economics, but ended up with an E in Maths. Definitely not your A* grades, but I wasn't going to let this define my future.
Gap Year
Spent three months in America working at a summer camp. Grew up fast, got perspective, and came back knowing I wanted more than the traditional route.
University
Began my degree but was simultaneously interviewing for corporate roles. Passed every stage — online tests, in-person assessments, the works.
The Offer
Got offered a degree apprenticeship. Leaving uni and my mates behind was tough, but I knew it was the right call. Took the job and started my career in the big city.
Now
Working in corporate London, studying for my degree alongside it, and documenting the whole thing online so you can see what this path actually looks like.
